Congrats to this week’s Recipe Winner Christine Ryan who submitted her hubby’s fave dish she makes but looking at this, I think it could quickly become everyone’s favorite.
Take a look…..
Scotty’s Favorite Spicy Seafood Boil.
“I love making this because you can really custom it to your own taste. Change out the type of seafood or spices. This is in the top 3 of my husband’s favorite meals that I make. Not sure what the other 2 are.” -Christine Ryan
-1 large pot
-Orange – Quartered. Large red onion – Quartered. Add both to pot.
-Seasoning the water to taste – I love either Spicy Jamaican or Cajun. Don’t be shy with the seasoning.
-Add butter if you like.
-Get your boil on.
-Add small red potatoes whole and sliced 1/2 inch Keilbasa sausage (any sausage will do) if required pre-cook sausage.
Boil in seasoned water for about 10 minutes.
-Add corn cobs that has been split into two and add the lobster tails.
Boil for another 5 minutes.
-Add shrimp, and cook another 3 or 4 minutes until pink. You can add anything you want from squid to clams, etc.
Remove all booked items from broth, plate. Remove 1 or 2 cups of broth, add butter to taste for drizzling over the entire dish just before serving.
Fresh parsley to garnish.
What you’ll need:
4 cobs of corn
6 lobster tails
Bag of uncoooked shell on shrimp
3 length of Keilbasa or sausage of your choice
Bag of small red potatoes
Lemon for squeezing.
“I like keeping shells on shrimp and lobster to keep flavor in. This is a juicy bib required meal.”
Congrats Christine for the great recipe, you can now enjoy $100 from The Unrefined Olive and $100 from Ferme Reveuse. You’re also in to win the dining room set from La-Z-Boy Home Furnishings and Decor.
