More Of Us Are Eating Lunch At Our Desks

A new study from Dalhousie University shows that 39 per cent of Canadians are eating lunch at their desks — a number that reflects increasing workplace pressures and changing attitudes toward meals. People in Atlantic Canada eat lunch at their desks most often, at almost 50 per cent — and are more likely to eat alone, which is amystery to the study authors. The study also shows while most Canadians bring their lunches to work, eating out and buying ready-made food for dinner is on the rise. (Broadcast News)
