Time For Some Estate Planning

As in Mackenzie King Estate up in Gatineau Park, one of my absolute favorite spots to visit which I honestly don’t do enough of.  Sure, we may live in a big city but it’s amazing how it’s only minutes away to a beautiful setting such as this glorious place where one of our fine Prime Ministers once lived.

Mackenzie King is one of my fave Prime Ministers, he loved his tranquility of this Estate, he loved his Mom, he loved his dogs, he just loved life and from all accounts from all the books I’ve read, he seemed like one of the nicest guys.  Plus leaving the Estate all for us to enjoy, how can you not love the man and even more so, his wonderful property.

No better time to check it all out than this long weekend where you can step back in time, and celebrate Canada 150 with live music and swing dancing, horse and carriage rides, lawn games from Mackenzie King’s era, as well as craft and artisan demonstrations, and a yummy chocolate tasting to satisfy your sweet tooth!

And you just never know, he might just be there too but that’s a story for another time 😉
