Honestly my life would not be complete without Fleetwood Mac in it. Whether that is as the band itself or all the solo projects that came along with them. From Steve Nicks to Christine McVie to Lindsey Buckingham or Mick Fleetwood’s The Zoo. Anything and everything that they have done has been extraordinary and they’ve all just added a bit more to my life.
To this day Rumours is still one of my all time fave records and Stevie Nicks first solo Bella Donna is right up there too. I’ve seen the band numerous times and each time just gets better as they are truly one of the best bands to watch live.
This time around I have to say the jury is still out for me whether I’ll see them or not as to me Mr Buckingham is a stellar part of that line-up and to think he won’t be included on this current tour is hard for me to swallow.
Legendary, GRAMMY-award winning band Fleetwood Mac announced a North American tour, set to kick off in October and travel through 50-plus cities across Canada and the United States ending in the spring of 2019 with a November 3rd date here in Ottawa and Canadian Tire Centre. The tour will feature the newly announced line-up of Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie along with newcomers Mike Campbell and Neil Finn to replace Lindsey Buckingham.
Tickets are currently on sale for the show which I know will still be good as you’ve got four out of five of the great members and I know I may end up going just to see how it is without Lindsey but I do hope Mr Buckingham will forgive me if I do 😉
