Weather forecasters are warning the current February thaw is not a sign of an early spring.
The Weather Network says spring will be a little late this year across much of the country with the mercury dropping through March and early April before eventually warming up towards the end of the season.
Chief Meteorologist Chris Scott says that includes Ontario — where he predicts winter will make at least one more appearance — and possibly two.
Scott says March looks to be an even stormier month than usual in the province but whether those storms come in the form of snow, ice or rain will depend entirely on the day.
