I’ve always been one of those people that if I have a few days off, I like to jump in my car to take a road trip to some little town and see what I can find. I’m lucky that my hubby is the same way so during the summer if we have a weekend free or a week off together, we just go where the car takes us.
Some places we’ve visited in our travels have included Rockport, Westport, Merrickville and Newport. Chances have always been good with all these occasions that I have found a quaint little bookstore in these parts and these are the best but sometimes you come across other cute little stores.
Case in point with the little town of Winchester and a cute little shop called Samantha’s Emporium. My husband and I paid this place a visit and let’s just say we’re hooked on it and all it’s fun little things like wooden sayings which my husband bought two of 😉 A cute little wooden box which sits nicely on my dresser while my hubby also found a Montreal Canadian’s license plate holder which yes sits nicely on his car 😉
These are just a few of the many treasures you will find at Sam’s Emporium in Winchester run by Samantha Chadwick and her Mom, Rosalyn who specialize in personalized party and event products as the main offerings, as well as decorative furniture knobs, stencils, table accents, recycled items, and so much more.
My hubby actually went back to use them for my surprise birthday party last month and pretty sure we’ll be paying it more visits along the way too.
Feel free to check them out too at 507 St. Lawrence St. in Winchester, you’ll be glad you did 🙂
P.S. Photo is actually the sticker they did up for balloons and decorations, very happy with end result 🙂
