Senators Visit Jonathon Pitre

While in Minnesota this week, the Ottawa Senators visited Russell’s Jonathon Pitre

The 16-year-old, who is battling a rare blistering skin disease, is at the Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital and is to undergo a second attempt at a stem cell transplant on Friday.

Captain Erik Karlsson walked in with all his teammates.

The Senators have been longtime supporters of the Pitre family.

Former Senators general manager Bryan Murray signed Pitre to a one-day contract in 2014 to be a scout for the team.

Since that time, the organization has had a close association with Pitre.
