The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall will visit Ottawa to mark the country’s 150th birthday.
Prince Charles and Camilla plan to tour Ottawa, parts of Ontario and Nunavut between June 29 and July 1.
They are visiting on behalf of Queen Elizabeth 2, who will be turning 91 this year.
It will be the Prince’s 18th visit to Canada. His first official visit was in the summer of 1970.
Gov. Gen. David Johnston says they have accepted the government’s invitation to undertake a tour, their fourth visit as a couple.
