Public Asked To Help Identify Stabbing Suspect

Ottawa Police are trying to track down a a male suspect believed to have stabbed a man in his late 20’s multiple times in Ottawa’s west end Tuesday. Officers were called to a home in the 100 block of Craig Henry Drive just after 4 p.m. after reports of a stabbing. The victim – who was reportedly stabbed several times – was taken to hospital in serious but non life-threatening condition.

Police are looking for help from the public in locating a black man who goes by the street name “Goods.” He’s described as five foot nine inches tall, weighing around 160 pounds and possibly driving a dark, newer-model Ford sedan. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 613-236-1222 extension 2666.  Tips can be given anonymously through Crime Stoppers. (OPS news release)
