Police Look For Help In Identifying Suspect

The Ottawa Police Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section has released the picture of the male suspect of an attempted sexual assault in the area of Preston Street and Young Street. Police say a young woman waiting for a bus was grabbed and dragged into some bushes. Officers said the 22-year-old was at a bus stop just before 1 a.m. Saturday, when a man grabbed her from behind, dragged her into some bushes and tried to sexually assault her. The attacker fled when two bystanders chased him off.The image was captured nearby during the time of the incident.
