Eight larger-than-life polar bears will be turning heads today and tomorrow here in Ottawa. Similar to last summer when a T-Rex pack was roaming Sparks Street and the ByWard Market, now a group of friendly polar bears will be riding double-decker buses and visiting key tourist spots downtown. The fun stunts are part of the publicity for the Canadian Museum of Nature’s new Canada Goose Arctic Gallery. The bears are arriving from the Arctic to enjoy activities and sights this week. The summer weather might get a little too warm for them, so look for them unwinding with some Yoga or cooling off with some frozen treats.
