An Ottawa software developer goes for his third straight win on Jeopardy tonight. Grant McSheffrey became a two-day Jeopardy champion on the show that aired last night, winning $30,000. His two days of winnings add up to $53,400. “It was a lot of fun, it was crazy though,” says McSheffrey, who has been watching the show since he was a child. After years of playing trivia, McSheffrey says he decided to take the online Jeopardy test last January and was shocked when he got the call. McShffrey returns to the show tonight to defend his title.
Ottawa has had a few contestants show up on Jeopardy, including Matt Kellison in February and Ryan Mill last fall. However, McSheffrey is the first area contestant to make repeat appearances. (local files, Ottawa Citizen)
