Ottawa Collection Calendar App Now Available

Not sure which bin aluminum foil belongs in? Wondering when to put the leaf bags out by the curb? Struggling to keep track of your collection schedule? There’s an app for that. The Ottawa Collection Calendar app is now available for Apple and Android, care of ReCollect Systems Inc. Search for it in the app store or find it among the City of Ottawa’s app gallery listings, here:

The app won’t bring the bins to the curb for you, but it will help you to stay organized and ahead of the game. Customize your collection alerts from the convenience of your phone or tablet. You can use the app to access the Waste Explorer (which will tell you that aluminum foil belongs in the blue bin). It’s also set up to share helpful hints and reminders about upcoming Household Hazardous Waste depots, holiday schedule changes, and more.

And best of all… It’s free!
