The National Capital Commission and RendezVous LeBreton Group have entered into a preliminary agreement to redevelop LeBreton Flats.
The NCC board today approved the terms of the agreement.
All the approvals are scheduled to be wrapped up in 2019, with construction scheduled for 2019-2020.
According to the NCC, both sides have agreed on a “fair market value” for the land, according to the NCC. Costs were not divulged during the meeting.
RendezVous wants to build an 18,000-seat NHL arena, twin-pad Sensplex, multi-sport “abilities” centre and a mixed-use community that includes affordable housing.
