Moment of Silence To Be Observed At City Hall

A moment of silence and reflection will be observed at the Ottawa City Council meeting on Wednesday.

It will mark the passing of Jonathan Pitre, who died last Wednesday after a long battle with EB, a blistering and painful skin disease and pay tribute to the players and staff of the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team who lost their lives in a highway accident last Friday night.

To mark the losses, the flags at Ottawa City Hall will be flown at half-mast from sunrise to sunset tomorrow .

A hockey stick will also be placed outside of City Hall near the Sens Rink of Dreams.
