It’s known as the silent cancer….the one that has no symptoms and when you do, they mimic other ailments so you don’t think of it but when you decide to get tested, you can’t as there is no way to really pinpoint it as there is no reliable screening test for it. Yet it’s still out there affecting thousands of women in Canada alone.
Ovarian cancer is the 5th most common cancer for women and is the most serious women’s cancer. So it’s time to take it by the Lady Balls and raise awareness as knowledge is power.
You can do your part by joining Jewel 98.5 with the Ovarian Cancer Teal Day At The Park on Saturday September 2nd with a Tailgate Party, The Walk Of Hope and the Ottawa Champions Baseball Game with fireworks to follow.
