Imagine A World Where The Beatles Never Existed

Rumour has it Ed Sheeran is set to star in a new film set in a world where The Beatles never existed. The Mail On Sunday reported that the singer-songwriter will appear in a new musical comedy project directed by Trainspotting‘s Danny Boyle and written by Notting Hill‘s Richard Curtis. The working title is thought to be All You Need Is Love

The film’s plot is described as being “about a man who wakes up one day to find he is the only person who can remember the songs of The Beatles”. According to the report, Ed Sheeran will make an onscreen cameo in the movie, as well as providing original music to the soundtrack.

Ed Sheeran is a known fan of The Beatles, having once performed an acoustic cover of ‘In My Life’ in front of Paul McCartney & Ringo Starr. Sir Paul was so impressed, he later sent Ed Sheeran a signed guitar with the message: “For Ed, who is brilliant.”
