It’s A Great Year To Be A Tourist In Your Own Backyard!

A number of Canada 150 events have already come and gone in the Nation’s Capital… but there’s much more to come! Starting tomorrow night, you can head down to Parliament Hill for a one-of-a-kind sound and light experience of Canadian culture and history, presented by Canadian Heritage. Northern Lights starts this Tuesday, July 11, bringing to life in spectacular detail the people, events and milestones that shape Canadian history. Using five artistic techniques to tell stories in five books, Northern Lights explores themes of nation-building,partnership, valor, pride and vision, all against the backdrop of the Parliament Buildings. The free bilingual show, now into it’s 3rd summer is scheduled to run until the summer of 2019, but the experience never gets old.
