GoFundMe Page Set Up For Barrhaven Family Who Lost Everything In Blaze

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help a family of six left homeless by a fire in Barrhaven Thursday. Crews spent over an hour fighting the fire that left three townhomes uninhabitable on Claridge Drive.

According to the GoFundMe page, the money raised will help the family to rebuild their lives and get back on their feet again. Everyone in the family is safe, however, they are in shock and the children are saddened by the loss of their cherished pets. At the time of the fire, they did not have insurance.

The goal is $25, 000 to help the Melki Family with covering the costs, of clothing, furniture and household amenities. $14,800 raised so far! Here’s a link to the page if you’d like to help out: https://www.gofundme.com/move-mountains-for-the-melkis?
