Tickets are now available for a very popular seniors event this summer.  The Mayor’s Canada Day Celebration for Seniors takes place Sunday July 1st from 8-10:30 a.m. at the Aberdeen Pavilion at Lansdowne Park.  The event includes breakfast as well as door prizes and entertainment.  There is no reserved seating and tickets and entry bracelets are required for entry and to claim door prizes.
Free tickets are available by calling the City of Ottawa at 613-580-2424, ext. 21245, or by e-mailing  protocolersvp@ottawa.ca  .Tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while quantities last.  There’s a limit of two tickets and bracelets per person.  A limited number of VIP tickets and entry bracelets are set aside to couples celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary in 2018.  (City of Ottawa news release)
