Friends Set Up A GoFundMe Page For Bus Crash Victim Marcie Stevens

Another story of personal tragedy is emerging from the double-decker bus crash, which claimed the lives of three people and injured almost two dozen others at Ottawa’s Westboro Station on January 11th.

Marcie Stevens was rushed to the hospital after the crash in critical condition with potentially life-threatening injuries and underwent a double-leg amputation. She remains in hospital and will need further surgeries to repair damage done to her body.

Marcie Stevens and her husband Christopher have two young boys, ages five and 12. Friends of theirs have set up a GoFundMe page to help with her recovery and the accommodations she will need as she struggles to return to normal living.

As of Wednesday morning, the page had already raised more than $18,000 towards its goal of $100,000. If you’d like to add your support, follow this link:
