Actress Jennifer Aniston doesn’t think the TV series ‘Friends’ would ever have a chance today, because times have changed. She became a household name thanks to the hit show, which ended in 2004, after 10 seasons. Jennifer says she has so many fond memories of her time as Rachel Green — but she can’t imagine a reboot of the show. During an appearance on Arianna Huffington’s new ‘Thrive Global’ Podcast, Jennifer admitted that she and some ‘friends’ were recently talking about the show and said that if ‘Friends’ was created today, you’d have a coffee shop full of people that were just staring into iPhones. “There would be no actual episodes or conversations”, she elaborated. Jennifer still keeps in touch with her Friends cast mates. Last year, she organized a quiet reunion at a pal’s house. Former co-star Lisa Kudrow recently insisted the get together, and it had nothing to do with business or any kind of TV or film reunion. It was just a chance for old friends to chat.
