Planning on getting a flu shot this year? Here’s a list of clinics around the city that are happening for the next couple of weeks. Free flu shots are also available at most local pharmacies.
The flu is a common and highly-contagious infection affecting the nose, throat, and lungs. It is spread through droplets that have been coughed or sneezed by someone who has the flu. You can get the flu simply by shaking hands with someone who has the flu or by touching surfaces that have come into contact with flu droplets, and then touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
