Peace At Last – The Boys Come Home

The North Lakeshore Chorus, a community based choir of mixed voices with 55 singers from the Greater Toronto, Cobourg, Kingston and Ottawa areas in Ontario and also from New Brunswick and Nova Scotia is presenting two concerts in Ottawa on Saturday, November 10th, 2018 to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the 1918 Armistice and those from the Dominions of Canada and Newfoundland who sacrificed their lives.
The first concert is at The Canadian War Museum, 1 Vimy Place, at 2 pm in the LeBreton Gallery and is free with admission to the Museum. The second concert is at Christ Church Anglican Cathedral at 7.30 pm. General admission tickets are $20, $10 for children 12 and under, and are available at the Cathedral the evening of the concert.
The choir has been paying tribute to the sacrifice of Canadian soldiers in the Great War since 2014, with concerts in Ontario, a Tour to the Maritimes in the same year, a Tour to Europe in 2015, a Tour to Newfoundland in 2016, more Ontario concerts in 2017 (also marking Canada 150) and another Tour to Europe in July, 2018.
