With the TD Ottawa Jazz Festival kicking off its second week in town, some interesting facts about one of the biggest festivals to hit our Nation’s Capital.
The TD Ottawa Jazz Festival is the 2nd oldest jazz festival in the country and is celebrating its 37th edition from now til Sunday.
2017 showcases more than 800 musicians performing in 127 concerts (55 of which are free), in the heart of the nation’s capital on 10 different stages and 15 different series.
329 Canadian musicians are performing in this year’s Festival to celebrate and encourage the richness of jazz in Canada in this pivotal 150th celebratory year.
Celebrate Canada Day and the Nation’s 150th with six FREE shows throughout the day on July 1st at the TekSavvy Main Stage at Confederation Park and the Tartan Homes Stage at Marion Dewar Plaza.
See The Downchild Blues Band on Thursday and Feist on Sunday the final day.
