If you were planning to file your taxes online, you could face some challenges. The threat of hacking is prompting the Canada Revenue Agency to take down the service indefinitely.
A notice on the agency’s website says it detected an internet vulnerability and took down many of its services, including electronic tax filing. The notice says people can still complete their forms, but will have to wait to file.
A spokesman for the C-R-A says it isn’t aware of any personal information being affected, but it will continue to monitor the situation.
