Collision Investigators Seek Public’s Help Identifying Suspect In Hit And Run

According to Ottawa Police, The male cyclist involved in a hit and run collision this morning has succumbed to his injuries in hospital. No further information on the individual’s identity will be released. Investigators are still requesting the public’s assistance for any possible witnesses, videos or pictures.

The vehicle and the cyclist were both travelling west on Laurier Avenue West near Elgin Street when the cyclist was struck. The driver then fled the scene of the collision. The abandoned vehicle was located on the MacKenzie King Bridge.
