Coffee Shop New Pricing Policy Sign Goes Viral

A coffee shop owner in Roanoke, Virgina was so fed up with rude customers, he decided to do something about it. So he put up a sandwich board sign in front of his coffee shop indicating their new pricing policy. The board reads:
“One small coffee”
$5.00
“One small coffee, please”
$3.00
“Hello, I’d like one small coffee please.”
$1.75

Austin Simms told a local TV station; “I decided because I need to solve all the injustices of the world to start charging more for people who didn’t take the time to say hello and connect and realize we’re all people behind the counter.” To his surprise, the sign went viral, and now a number of other establishments have adopted the same policy. Austin says he was just trying to be funny, not famous. Story & image source: www.wdbj7.com
