Christmas Kettles Are Back!

Just in time for Black Friday shoppers, the Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign is officially underway and runs through December 24th. This year’s campaign goal is set at $700,000 to help meet the increasing needs of individuals and families in our community. This year 36 Christmas Kettles are out in shopping centres and stores around the city of Ottawa.

Money raised during the campaign stays local, helping to fund vital programs serving thousands of people in need in our community.  Donations can be made in person at a kettle with cash or a cheque or online at

The Salvation Army is also looking for Christmas Kettle volunteers. To volunteer as a Christmas Kettle attendant sign up at or call 613-241-1573, extension 307. (Salvation Army news release)
