Catch Basin Map – City Of Ottawa

Did you know the City of Ottawa has over 100,000 catch basins to provide drainage to our roadways and greenspaces? 

As a critical component of the city storm collection system, keeping catch basins clear of debris (leaves, ice, snow, etc.) is important. Maintenance crews are regularly dispatched to clear catch basins, but they can’t possibly do them all. If you can pitch in by removing the build up of snow and ice from catch basins in front of your property, you’ll be doing yourself and the city a big favour.
