Well how can you top a Bake and Book Sale? How about saying it’s for a great cause, the perfect trifecta.
Neon Nights For Childhood Cancer is a cause near and dear to my heart as to me and as I’ve said before, kids should just be kids and not have to fight being sick with cancer. I even made a vow at last year’s event that I would return each and every year as the emcee until a cure was found.
Neon Nights For Childhood Cancer in Kemptville is in September again this year and it brings together the whole community either as individuals or teams to walk or run and raise funds and one of those teams is getting a head start this year.
Gee’s Gang is holding the Bake and Book Sale on Saturday March 31st from 10am to 4pm at 31 Clothier Avenue, next to Fabric Shop in Kemptville.
Long weekend it is…..grab some great books for the cottage or boat or just summer reading. Baked goods for your sweet tooth or maybe as an Easter treat. And as I like to say, when it comes to charity and desserts, there are no calories as all proceeds support Neon Nights For Childhood Cancer.
You never know I might even make a stop at some point too….a girl can never have enough books 🙂 Just don’t tell my husband 😉
