One man was rushed to hospital after an early-morning shooting in Ottawa’s south end. Just after 2 a.m., police responded to reports of gunshots in the area of Uplands and Paul Anka Drive. A 26-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot wound. He is listed in serious, stable condition in hospital.
There was also a shooting incident in the west end around 10:30 last night. Investigators responded the area of Baseline and Highgate roads. Investigators found shell casings at the scene, and reports indicate two vehicles fled the scene afterward. There were no injuries, and police have no suspects.
