You might not think of Jamestown, New York as the capital of comedy but the western New York town is sure staking its claim in that regard.
It already has a museum dedicated to the great Lucille Ball and a statue of the legendary comedian but now it’s also home to the National Comedy Center, which just opened yesterday.
It features a large collection of interactive exhibits, the archives of the late George Carlin and a hologram theater.
Among the comedians performing during this opening week include Amy Schumer, Lewis Black and our very own Dan Akroyd.
