If you’ve seen Bradley Cooper’s ‘A Star Is Born’, you know the real star is ‘Charlie’ the labradoodle, Bradley Cooper’s own dog. Charlie is such a scene stealer that PETA has created a brand-new honour just so it could bestow it on Charlie.
Technically speaking, the award is being given to his owner, Bradley Cooper. In a statement, PETA’s Senior VP said, “Bradley Cooper’s happy, adorable, and much-loved dog steals the spotlight – and viewers’ hearts – in this film because it’s clear that he loved being with his real-life dad.”
The prize given to the Coopers is called the COMPASSION IN FILM AWARD. Bradley Cooper has joked that the fame had gone to Charlie’s fluffy head. “I don’t talk to him much anymore,” Bradley told People Magazine on the red carpet before the September 24th Los Angeles premiere. “He doesn’t return my calls. He always walks away from me unless I have food.”
