1st Grade Teacher’s Precious Picasso’s Create ‘Memory Dress’

A first-grade teacher in Lawton, Oklahoma wanted to do something special for her students on the last day of school, something that combined fun with creativity. So, ShaRee Castlebury came to work in a plain white dress and asked her little Picasso’s (as she calls them) to draw all over it. The result is pretty impressive. Fashion designers take note! Not only was it an unforgettable way for the kids to remember the last day of their first year at school, but it also gave their teacher, a beautiful keepsake to remember her students by. ShaRee calls it “a memory dress,” because she says, “I don’t want to lose the beauty of the kids as they have to grow up and move on from me.” How wonderful is that?!
